Cold Caller — Outbound B2B Sales

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Outbound B2B Cold Caller for Vantage Automation, you’ll be the first point of contact between our company and prospective clients. Your job is to reach decision-makers at small and mid-sized businesses, introduce them to the value of workflow automation, and set qualified appointments for our team to close.

You won’t be reading a rigid script — you’ll be having real conversations with business owners about their pain points and positioning Vantage as the solution. We provide the leads, the talking points, and the tools. You bring the energy and persistence.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls to B2B prospects from provided lead lists across multiple industries
  • Introduce Vantage Automation’s services and identify pain points around repetitive manual tasks
  • Qualify leads based on business type, size, and automation readiness
  • Set appointments and warm handoffs for follow-up conversations
  • Log call outcomes, notes, and lead status in the CRM
  • Follow up with interested prospects via phone and email as needed
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and messaging effectiveness to help refine outreach strategy

Requirements

  • Prior experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound B2B sales
  • Comfortable speaking with business owners, office managers, and decision-makers
  • Resilient — you don’t take rejection personally and can keep dialing
  • Clear, professional phone presence with strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet space to make calls
  • Fluent English speaker with clear pronunciation
  • Must have a computer and a headset with a working microphone

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel) for tracking and reporting
  • Understanding of business automation, AI, or SaaS concepts (even at a high level)
  • Experience selling to service-based businesses (HVAC, legal, real estate, etc.)
